Parking in Wolverhampton

NCP Parking Incentives

Working closely with NCP we were able to secure free evening parking at Wulfrun Centre NCP for February 2017 to support evening venues and restaurants. With 5 NCP car parks in our City Centre, we will continue to work with NCP to develop parking incentives and offers that continue to attract visitors to our city centre.

Extended Free Christmas Parking

Over Christmas 2016 Wolverhampton BID secured extended free Christmas parking on the City of Wolverhampton Council owned car parks. We are continually in dialogue with the council on how we can reduce the cost of parking and enhance the perception of parking and accessibility in the city.

Making Changes

Directly as a result of the BID’s feedback on the negative impact of the bus lane enforcement at Piper’s Row, the City Council are changing road signage and markings to give car drivers in our city a better warning and clearer directions.

BID Business Parking Scheme

Over 155 city centre business employees are now signed up to our exclusive BID business parking tariff, saving £2 per day whilst parking at NCP Wulfrun Centre. This scheme is available to all BID businesses and goes a long way to supporting an attractive city to work.

For enquiries or to arrange your low-cost staff parking, please ask your City Ambassadors or call 01902 710 903 or email info@wolverhamptonbid.co.uk.

As part of the BID objective of improving accessibility and parking in the city, the scheme, which has been developed in partnership with NCP, will be launched to all BID businesses in July.

The scheme offers a cost reduction of 50 pence per day which could add up to significant savings of £130 per year. Businesses will be able to benefit from this saving on their full day parking costs in the Wulfrun Centre from 6.30 am to 10 pm, Monday to Saturday and from 7.30 am to 18.30 pm on Sundays. The team of BID City Ambassadors will be visiting BID members over the coming weeks to ensure they are aware of and benefitting from this scheme.

Wolverhampton BID was launched in April, 2015. In addition to accessibility and parking, the BID will be delivering projects to meet all objectives outlined in its business plan including supporting city centre businesses, city centre marketing and events and the promotion of a clean safe and welcoming city.

Tickets will be valid for 6 months and administered by Wolverhampton BID Office, 176-178 Stafford Street, Wolverhampton WV1 1ND. For enquiries please ask your City Ambassadors or call 01902 710 903 or email info@wolverhamptonbid.co.uk.
