Shift Leader Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join our client based within the Cannock area. Our client specialises in manufacturing products that are used within the Automotive, Building, Packing industries. This position will be permanent for the successful candidate. Candidate Requirements:- Previous Leader/Managing experience. Previous experience within a production environment. FLT Reach and Counterbalance licence would be advantageous. Experience of Health & Safety responsibility. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial, but training will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for all production, processes, and staff on the shift. Ensuring all staff are complying will all Health & Safety Procedures. Training staff to company procedures and processes. Monitoring monthly targets, ensuring all targets are being met and discussing ways to help staff hit targets if not being met. Dealing with staff absences and covering when necessary. Controlling stock of materials and ensuring there is enough stock for the shift. Reporting to the Production Manager. Inputting data onto systems to monitor progress. General Warehouse/Factory duties when required.
