Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning started in 1990 with a local fundraising group who decided to hold a coffee morning where people came along to meet and mingle, as they might normally do, but donate the cost of their coffee and cakes to Macmillan. That seed of an idea has grown to become a nationwide event that has risen over £200 million through coffee mornings in homes, offices and businesses throughout the UK and Wolverhampton City Centre businesses are keen to do their bit.
