Enjoy Wolverhampton Live!, The biggest FREE one-day festival of family entertainment and live music in the Midlands is back once again this summer after being forced off stage by the Coronavirus pandemic last year.
With lockdown restriction lifting later on this month, Enjoy Wolverhampton Live will be held on Saturday 7th August 2021, a little later than usual at Queen Square Wolverhampton.
We're thrilled to be bringing the City another FREE live event, safe & unrestricted that has attracted thousands of music fans and families over the last 5 years.
This year we're welcoming on stage the Voice of M-People, Heather Small as our evening headline act. As Part of M People, hits such as 'Moving On Up', 'One Night In Heaven' and 'Search For The Hero' and albums like Elegant Slumming, Bizarre Fruit and Fresco achieving massive worldwide success, Heather became one of the seminal British voices of the 1990s, with the band winning the Best British Dance Act Award at the Brits in 1994 and 1995, as well as the Mercury Music Prize for Elegant Slumming.
We've also got an absolute 'legend' spinning the decks with his blissful beats. Graeme Park will be live on stage to show us exactly what made him one of Britains greatest house and dance DJs for the last 25 years. He was at the forefront of the dance scene when it was at its zenith and he’s still there, still rocking it, years later – longer than some of the people on the dancefloor have been on the planet! And the best thing is he still loves it, still loves the music and still loves to play it for people to dance to.
The packed line up continues with former S Club 7 favourite Jo O'Meara and X-Factor star REDD and we'll be serving up some tasty performances from Mom's Spaghetti.
That's not all, the day time will see families and children being entertained by a variety of fabulous performances, bringing laughs and smiles to the audience. Headlining the daytime session, we'll have children's favourite and CBEEBIES presenter Sid Sloane bringing his own unique act to the stage to make it a memorable day for everyone!
So save the date – Saturday 7th August 2021. Head on down to Queen Square.
More information about performance times will be announced closer to the date. Please make sure you follow us on Facebook to keep up to date. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends.
