About University of Wolverhampton at The Halls

The Halls have been a beloved part of the city of Wolverhampton for generations. Offering the very best entertainment from some of the biggest names in music, comedy and sport.

From rock legends as varied as Queen, David Bowie and Nirvana to huge pop acts including One Direction, Take That and Little Mix. From the stars of heavy metal, R&B, soul, dance, folk, goth and hip-hop the Civic and Wulfrun Halls have offered something for everyone over the years.

In 2023, The Halls Wolverhampton was officially reopened to the public by AEG Presents, with multiple improvements to the Grade II listed building. Visitors can enjoy more comfortable seats, a greater number of bars and enhanced space to socialise, expanded and revamped toilet facilities, lift access to new balconies including a new 3rd tier balcony in the Civic Hall, better access arrangements for disabled visitors (including enhanced wheelchair access), a greater number of accessible viewing points and improved room temperatures through the installation of a new air conditioning system. The height above the stage to the rear of the Civic Hall has also been increased to attract bigger and better shows.

AEG Presents is supported by ASM Global, the world’s leading venue operator to deliver a first-class customer experience in the venue including food and beverage, as well as  other services. The official ticketing partner of the venue, AXS, is an award-winning global ticketing platform, which brings its patented ticketing system, AXS Mobile ID, ensuring ethical, secure resale and ticket transfer.
