Giant Floor Games Take Over the City

This August, Wolverhampton is being transformed into a giant outdoor play zone with eight huge interactive floor games popping up across the city centre. Think:

• Hopscotch on a whole new scale

• A twisty-turny Maze to explore

• A mind-bending Memory Mat

• The tricky No Left Turn challenge

• And a wild leap across the Floor is Lava

• Meet the wobbly snake

• Take a trip on our road map.

• And of course... Snakes and Ladders

9 Hole Crazy Golf in the City

Keep your eyes peeled for pop-up 9-hole golf days, where kids (and big kids!) can try their hand at putting their way around fun mini-golf obstacles. Get competitive or just enjoy a bit of friendly family rivalry in the sunshine.

Seaside in the City Returns – 29th & 30th August

Yes, you heard right – the beach is back!

Wolverhampton’s most popular summer tradition makes its return as Victoria Street (Bell Square) is transformed into a huge man-made beach, complete with deckchairs, sandcastles, and seaside vibes. It’s the ultimate staycation treat for families.

And this year’s event promises more excitement than ever, including:

• Dicky Dodd’s Roadshow bringing the tunes and fun games to play.

• A free Helter Skelter for thrills and squeals

• All the family favourites you know and love – think games, treats, and beachside fun
