Cherry Shine, managing director of Enjoy Wolverhampton BID said “We’re delighted for the return of the Wolverhampton BID Excellence Awards.

When we launched the awards in 2023, the focus was on resilience and bouncing back from the pandemic. Times have moved on.

For the BID Excellence Awards 2025, we’re focusing on the multi-sensory nature of the city centre, something you can’t replicate online.

It’s the place where real life happens, whether it’s popping to the shops to pick up a carton of milk or enjoying a special night out at the theatre. We’re celebrating the city centre businesses that keep our lives and businesses running smoothly.”

The deadline for entries is 2 May. Finalists will find out if they are winners at the Awards Night on Thursday 10 July at the Grand Palace on School Street, formerly the Darlington Street Methodist Church.

Cherry said “We’re urging all businesses in the Wolverhampton city centre BID area, whatever their size or sector, to enter the BID Excellence Awards, so that we can showcase their important contribution to the economy.”
