Wolverhampton is a millennium city, home to magnificent buildings and a rich heritage. The city centre has a strong retail offer with significant high street brands and an amazing range of over 300 independent businesses. The city is also home to numerous large employers and has an established and growing university presence. With the Civic Halls, Grand Theatre and the Lighthouse offering a rich range of live entertainment the city is a major hub for live entertainment complemented by a host of clubs, bars, restaurants and cafés.

 

Wolverhampton businesses have taken the opportunity through a Business Improvement District) to influence local decisions and to take control of how their city reacts to these changes. BIDs across over 180 towns and cities in the UK deliver a bespoke range of services and projects that businesses have identified are essential and tailored to ensure that they give themselves the best chance to trade as effectively as possible.
