Late Night Safe Haven and First Aid Provision
It aims to make the city’s streets a friendly and welcoming place for all who head into the city centre to enjoy our restaurants, pubs, bars and nightclubs. After all a great night out is a safe night out.
The Late Night Safe Haven acts as a place of safety providing care, advice and assistance for anyone who attends. Free cups of water are available and visitors to the provision on Queen Square will receive support to help them arrange to get home. Follow our social media pages for dates of operation.
The Safe Haven not only reduces the pressure on local accident and emergency departments but also offers support to local licensed venues as well as assisting in the reduction of night-time anti-social behaviour in the city. The Night First Aid Team make a real difference by their proactive, positive and engaging approach.
